Working software, online and open to anyone, built on the same problem that runs through the research: a figure without its source is a claim rather than evidence.

    An economist spends a great deal of time asking where a number came from. StatCite answers that in the response itself. It serves official macro data from the World Bank, the IMF and the ECB over a REST API and an MCP server, and every value arrives with its citation attached: source, dataset, vintage, retrieval date. The Caribbean Debt Tracker on this site pulls four of its series from it.

The writing and research here are my own. They are not published on behalf of any employer, and nothing on this site should be read as an institutional position.

Nothing here draws on non-public official data. The Caribbean Debt Tracker and the rest of the research are built from published sources, cited and linked so any figure can be checked.

I hold private investment interests. They are listed by sector rather than by company name, and I do not write about individual companies.

Philosophy

Why I build.

I back and help build Caribbean enterprises designed to outlast a press cycle, patient capital, long horizons, and the conviction that the region deserves ownership of its own productive base. The work is long. The work is local. What I publish, I stand behind.
